What’s Your WHY?

What’s Your WHY?

Making a life change isn’t easy. It’s a complex process that takes deliberate effort, inner work and patience especially if you want the change to last. In previous posts I’ve talked about key components such as having an abundant mindset and tools to set your mindset up right.

Doing the inner work to figure our your “why” is also vital if you want the change to last. Why do you want to eat better? Is it because your doctor told you you’re going to die if you don’t change your diet now? That’s a very strong “why” that has a good chance of motivating you for long-term change.

Having a less than compelling “why” for your change will sink your efforts. I guarantee it.

Think about a change you want to make in your life. WHY do you want to make that change? Is your “why” compelling enough to see you through long-term, after the new-ness of making a change wears off?
